Alex Monroe’s Teeny Tiny Goldcrest Collection

Alex Monroe jewellery

As you know, I am a complete nut for the cute and elegant designs of British designer Alex Monroe.

Ever since I first spotted the tiny animals delicately perched on necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings in a glass display at Fortnum and Mason’s, my time spent on the Alex Monroe website adding pieces to my imaginary shopping basket has increased dramatically and each year I try to acquire a new piece.

This year I had very much settled on the Dream of Me spinner necklace, although I was also tempted by the Bunch of Keys necklace, and now my decision has been made all the more difficult with the news of a new collection courtesy of my best friend Alex!

Now that I am based in Paris, I was sadly unable to attend the press launch but Alex came back from the event to raconte all about it… including the fact that she actually met Alex Monroe! You can read all about her encounter (and his ability to instantly register all the jewellery you are wearing) on our website.

The Goldcrest collection is a version of each of the designer’s iconic pieces which has been miniaturised into tiny little gold keepsake necklaces. All the classics are there including the bumblebee, the drangonfly and my absolute favourite peapod!! These will launch in November so perfect for special Christmas gifts although I don’t know the price point yet!

Take a look at the display from the press launch below…
